With a lifetime of adventure and service, Dan brings a unique blend of maritime expertise and military discipline to everything he does. After serving 30 combined years in the U.S. Navy—where he honed his skills as an Enlisted Sailor and later as a Naval Officer in the elite Naval Special Warfare community—Dan traveled the world, exploring exotic ports and experiencing history-making moments across several decades. Before his distinguished military career, Dan spent his civilian life as a large yacht captain, navigating both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, living a life fueled by the thrill of the open water and exciting ports of call.

Now settled in Historic Annapolis, Maryland, Dan has partnered with local artist Andrew French to create something unique. Together, they launched Market Street Merchants, a dynamic Annapolis business that celebrates the spirit of Andrew French's art, creativity, and craftsmanship with a personal touch. Market Street Merchants features stunning artwork by Andrew and offers an exclusive collection of one-of-a-kind, handcrafted pieces by both Andrew and Dan. Rooted in the historic heart of Annapolis, their collaborative spirit shines through in every creation.
